The Winter 2023 edition of Endless Summer Quarterly [ESQ] features great in-depth interviews with Mike Love, Al Jardine, (the late) Ron Altbach, Gary Griffin, Mike Kowalski, Rusty Ford, and Jeff Peters. In addition to these telling conversations, there’s additional commentary with Ed Carter and Charles Lloyd. *Many rare images are included.

In this first volume covering the M.I.U. Album sessions, ESQ uncovers a lot of history as it relates to the formation of Making Waves (Celebration), and the recording sessions that led to the release of the recording “Almost Summer” and the soundtrack album of the same name. This is the first of what promises to be a multi-volume series.
