Founded in 1987 in San Diego, CA. by editors emeritus Rick Edgil and Phil Mast, Endless Summer Quarterly, INC. [ESQ], has become The Beach Boys/Brian Wilson publication of record.
Each 48-page quarterly publication of ESQ offers fans of The Beach Boys exclusive interviews, previously unpublished and rare images (some from private collections), video, CD and DVD reviews, exclusive CDs, and giveaways available only to subscribers of the magazine.

The Winter 2020 edition of ESQ celebrates the 40th Anniversary of The Beach Boys’ Keepin’ The Summer Alive album. This issue includes interviews with Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Jerry Schilling, and Scott Mathews, along with archival content from Brian Wilson and Carl Wilson. This edition of ESQ also includes a sessionography from Craig Slowinski; rare recording images from Al’s barn in Big Sur, CA, and Daryl Dragon’s Rumbo Recorders Studios in Canoga Park, CA; an original album cover art breakdown by Malcolm C. Searles; and an exclusive print painted by Robert Lyn Nelson for the ESQ cover.
