1
This tour was cancelled at very short notice, reportedly because ticket sales were slow.
The dates shown are those known, although there were of course others.
2
This was a benefit show for Vietnam veterans
3
This show marked the commencement of the Sunkist-sponsored US summer tour
4
This session marked the beginning of the so-called 'Wilson Project', a reunion of Brian
and Gary Usher under the aegis of Landy, the apparent intent being for Usher to get
Brian in shape to complete a solo album - with another producer, however. The period
is accurately, and wholly depressingly, chronicled in Stephen J. McParland's excellent
book The Wilson Project, which draws heavily on the tapes and notes Usher kept
during the collaboration. It is required reading.
5
This may have been the first time "Lady Liberty" was performed.
6
The second - and apparently last - time "Lady L:iberty" was performed.
7
Brian wasn't actually present for these sessions.
8
The band, including Brian, lipsynched "California Dreamin'".
9
Brian accepts an award for The Moody Blues.
10
Brian joined the Moodies for the encore, performing  "Sloop John B" & "Help Me
Rhonda" and singing bvs on "Ride My See-Saw".
11
Bruce was also on the bill: Brian played "Surfer Girl", "Let's Go To Heaven In My Car" &
  "California Girls".
12
Pre-concert sessions for the 25th Anniversary Show.
13
The 25th Anniversary show, which featured such guests as Ray Charles, Glen Campbell,
The Everly Brothers, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Belinda Carlisle & Gloria Loring. It
was filmed for transmission in early 1987. The less said about 'comic' Joe Piscopo, the
  better...
14
Brian replaced Mike for this show.
