About ESQ

Musical Notes

Endless Summer Quarterly, INC. [ESQ], the world's leading Brian Wilson/Beach Boys' magazine, was founded in 1987 in San Diego, CA. In 1993 editor David Beard (and editor emeritus Lee Dempsey) took ESQ to new heights (in Charlotte, NC) with its presentation, honest approach to celebrating the music, and historical accuracy.

Each quarterly publication offers fans exclusive interviews, previously unpublished and rare images from private collections, video, CD and DVD reviews, and exclusive CDs available to subscribers of the magazine.

Over the years ESQ has conducted interviews with these noted professionals, collaborators and family members: Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, David Marks, Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, Jan (Berry) and Dean (Torrence), Van Dyke Parks, Frank Holmes, Tony Asher, Stephen J. Kalinich, Hal Blaine, Billy Hinsche, Andy Paley, Fred Vail, Ed Roach, Jerry Schilling, Mark Linett, Gerry Beckley (America), Robert Lamm (Chicago), David Leaf, Rick Henn (Sunrays), Adrian Baker, Gary Griffin, John Stamos, Bobby Figueroa, Mark London, The Wondermints, Jeffrey Foskett, Jeff Larson, Scott Bennett, Alan Boyd, Virginia Jardine (Al's mother), Matt and Adam Jardine, Melinda Wilson, Justyn and Jonah Wilson (Carl Wilson's sons) and Carl B. Wilson (Dennis Wilson's son).

Now in its 21st year in existence and 15th year on the East Coast the future for ESQ is looking great with the addition of the new DVD series Endless Sky, bringing the California scene into your living room.
